PLACERVILLE, CA — In a significant development for the safety and well-being of Placerville’s first responders, Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil presented a $1 million check today to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District (EDCFPD) to fund the highly anticipated Placerville Joint Public Safety Facility. The funding will be instrumental in kick starting the initial project costs for acquiring land and site design and preparation.

El Dorado Hills, CA - Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil and her team celebrated the grand opening of the Senator’s El Dorado Hills district office. Events included an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony. Kicking off the events of the day with the open house, visitors constantly flowed in and out of their suite on the 3rd floor. In total, over 150 people attended the celebratory events.




SAN ANDREAS, CA Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil has successfully secured an additional $1.3 million in funding for Senate District 4 during the second round of review for the California State Budget. This funding includes $200,000 for the Calaveras County Animal Services agency to enhance their facilities. This one-time funding will enable the shelter to keep up with their demands by making necessary upgrades.




SACRAMENTO – Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil has successfully passed multiple bills with bipartisan support out of the Legislature and will be sent to the Governor for signature. Water infrastructure, wildfire response, transportation, agriculture, and jobs are the focal points of the Senator’s first legislative package that she spearheaded after being elected to represent California’s 4th Senate District.
