PLACERVILLE, CA — In a significant development for the safety and well-being of Placerville’s first responders, Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil presented a $1 million check today to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District (EDCFPD) to fund the highly anticipated Placerville Joint Public Safety Facility. SAN ANDREAS, CA Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil has successfully secured an additional $1.3 million in funding for Senate District 4 during the second round of review for the California State Budget. This funding includes $200,000 for the Calaveras County Animal Services agency to enhance their facilities. This one-time funding will enable the shelter to keep up with their demands by making necessary upgrades.
