Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil opens new office in El Dorado Hills with large community support

El Dorado Hills, CA - Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil and her team celebrated the grand opening of the Senator’s El Dorado Hills district office. Events included an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony. Kicking off the events of the day with the open house, visitors constantly flowed in and out of their suite on the 3rd floor. In total, over 150 people attended the celebratory events. The open house provided an opportunity to interact one-on-one with the Senator’s bi-partisan staff team and to visit with the Senator, a resident of Jackson in neighboring Amador County who is rounding out her first year in elected office. Guests enjoyed refreshments sourced from neighboring small businesses in El Dorado Hills Town Center including, cookies from Creamy's by Cayla, and Popcorn by Nibblers Popcorn.

The Senator's ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by several key community members including four of the County’s Board of Supervisors, Sheriff Jeff Leikauf, El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce CEO Laurel Brent-Bumb and dozens of local elected leaders from water districts, fire districts, school boards, community service districts, and more. To kick off the program, elementary students from Jackson Elementary School led the United States Pledge of Allegiance. Fire Chief John Tayaba from the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians conducted a traditional native blessing through the eagle song.

In her remarks regarding the County’s collaboration with Senator Alvarado-Gil, Wendy Thomas, El Dorado Board of Supervisors Chair, shared, "In my 11 years of elected service, I have never known a representative either at the State or the Federal level to be so committed, engaged, and caring about the constituency that he/she represents."

When asked about her plans in office, Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil emphasized her commitment to unifying District 4 around issues that are not partisan but are people's issues. She emphasized that she will always prioritize people over politics.

The El Dorado Hills office is located at 4356 Town Center Blvd, Suite 313, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762. The office is open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Mondays through Fridays, fully staffed with her team to help you with your issues or concerns.
